we love people where they are and as they are.
what are your weekend services like?
Sunday mornings at 10:00 am we gather for our Celebration Service. The gathering will last about an hour. You’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with energetic music and a practical, relevant message. There is opportunity to meet people before and after service over coffee. Children are well-cared for in our safe, secure, and fun-filled nursery and Kids in Motion service.
what will happen when I visit for the first time?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you. We would love for you to complete a Connect Card for our record. We have a no hassle guarantee! We will simply send you one note to say thanks for coming, we won't harass you or pressure you to join.
Our atmosphere is casual. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Church in Motion is not about what you look like or what you wear.
what about my children?
At Church in Motion, your children are a top priority. We use a simple secure check in system. Our nursery and children's ministry are clean, safe, and staffed with workers who are screened and trained. We offer a dynamic children's ministry called Kids in Motion. If you prefer, your child is welcome to stay with you during the main service. At various times we host Family Sundays. On Family Sundays only Nursery is provided and the older children join the main service.
how can I meet others and get connected?
There are many ways to get connected. First, just take a few minutes before or after service to grab some coffee and meet some people. If you want to get involved then check out MOVE. We also have occasional lunches after service for people to meet the pastor and other CIM leaders. We also offer small groups which are another great way to connect. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.
